Don’t see your question below? Feel free to contact us and ask!
1. What types of dog training services do you offer?
We offer obedience training, behavior modification, puppy training, leash training, and specialized programs such as agility or service dog training.
2. What methods do you use for training?
Our training is based on positive reinforcement techniques, focusing on rewarding desired behaviors to build a strong bond between you and your dog.
3. What breeds do you work with?
We work with all dog breeds and sizes, tailoring our approach to each dog’s unique needs. Smaller dogs will usually train with Sarah. Larger breeds and those who are high-drive or working breeds will usually train with Brandi. We both may be involved in training a dog in some cases.
4. Do you train puppies and adult dogs?
Yes! We offer puppy training starting as early as eight weeks old and can work with dogs of any age to address training goals or behavior challenges.
5. How long does it take to see results?
The time frame varies depending on your dog’s age, temperament, and the type of training. Each dog is different and we will discuss what to expect based on your training goals at the initial assessment and consultation session.
6. Where do you provide training services?
Great question! We can provide 1:1 training in a variety of settings and we work with our clients and their pups to identify where that should be. Often this starts at your home, but we may also recommend training in another setting or a variety of settings! This would be discussed at the initial consultation and a personal plan for your dog developed.
7. Do you provide group training classes?
We do! We partner with Wag World Pub & Event Center in Fletcher, NC and provide group classes on-site there. Our classes run 4-6 weeks, so we usually have new groups starting about every 2 months. We also provide group classes for other facilities and community events on an as needed basis.
